Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Farm Alert Limited, a company registered in Nigeria with its office in Abuja, FCT ("Farm Alert", "we", "us"), for your use of the VetX application and website at vetx.pro (together, "VetX"). By creating an account, registering a shop or using VetX, you accept these Terms.

If you register a shop, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and authorised to act for that business, and you accept these Terms on behalf of the business and everyone you invite to use VetX in it.

• You must give accurate information when registering your shop and keep it up to date in Store Settings.
• You are responsible for everyone you add to your shop (cashiers, accountants, managers), for the roles you give them, and for keeping sign-in credentials safe.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect someone has gained unauthorised access to your account.
• One shop equals one subscription. You may run multiple shops, each with its own subscription.

• Every new shop starts with a free 30-day trial. The trial starts the day your shop is registered.
• When the trial ends, VetX features are paused until you renew or pay. Your data is kept safe while access is paused.
• VetX costs ₦13,000 per shop per month unless we agree a different price with you in writing.
• Payment is by bank transfer to the Farm Alert account we provide. Send your payment confirmation to us (by WhatsApp or email) and we will extend your shop's paid period.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice to shop owners; the price you signed up at will not change mid-term.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where we are required to refund by law.

You agree NOT to:

• Use VetX for anything unlawful, including selling expired, counterfeit or unregistered animal health products.
• Enter records you know are false, or use VetX to deceive your customers.
• Copy, resell, sublicense or provide VetX to others as a competing service.
• Attempt to access other shops' data, probe or break VetX's security, or disrupt the service.
• Upload viruses or malicious code, or scrape the service.

We may suspend a shop that breaks these rules, or where required by law, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.

VetX's clinic tools help shops keep customer and animal records, prescriptions and vaccination schedules, and send WhatsApp reminders. VetX is a record-keeping and reminder tool — it does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Advice given to animals remains the responsibility of qualified veterinary professionals. Reminder messages are a convenience and are not guaranteed to deliver (for example, if a customer's phone is unreachable or they have blocked messages).

Your shop's records — products, sales, customers, clinic records, accounts — belong to you. We store and process them only to run VetX, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your records, and if you close your shop or stop paying and ask us to, we will delete your data after giving you a reasonable window to collect it, subject to legal retention requirements.

Selling offline is a design goal of VetX: sales made without internet are stored on your device and synced when the network returns. Devices you own remain your responsibility — a lost or factory-reset phone before its queued sales sync means those records are lost.

We work hard to keep VetX available and sync reliably, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may maintain, update and improve VetX, add or change features, and fix faults at any time. If we make a change that significantly reduces the core features of a paid subscription, we will tell you first.

VetX, the VetX name, logo and all software, design and content we provide remain the property of Farm Alert Limited and its licensors. You may use them only as these Terms allow. Nothing in these Terms gives us rights over your shop's records or trademarks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Farm Alert is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profit, lost sales, lost goodwill or data you did not export — arising from your use of, or inability to use, VetX. Our total liability for any claim relating to VetX is limited to the subscription fees you paid us for the shop concerned in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You may stop using VetX and close your shop at any time by contacting us. We may end or suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, do not pay after your trial, or where the law requires it. When the agreement ends, the sections that should reasonably survive (including intellectual property, liability and governing law) continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always try to resolve problems with you directly first — talk to us.
